Previously non-ranked "challenged" team matches will now be ranked but the points won/lost is 1/3 of the normal amount. The HTML5 client doesn't have a Challenge button (yet). You can challenge other teams as a master/admin on the opponent team's profile page or in the Java applet.

If you use Facebook login and want to send VIP credits to someone but forgot your original Kiekko.tk password, you can now use "CONFIRM" as the password to confirm the transfer.

Players now gain experience points (xp) and levels for "official" matches (i.e. team matches, autoplay and training if there is at least 3 players per team). You get xp for playing time, for each goal your team scores, and for completing Achievements.

You can see your xp and level after each period in the HTML5 client. In the old Java clients there is no graphical xp display at this time, but you get a notification when you reach the next level. You can check your current xp and level with the command

On the website you can find your xp information on the statistics page and via the "experience level" button on the My Info page.

- settings are now saved on the player's computer, they weren't reliably saved previously

Newer applet:
- classic player graphics optional
- chat size and zoom level are now saved with settings when you press Save
- goal songs
- better screen updating code
- recent Facebook posts optionally with a web widget instead of just text
- server selection in the settings, no need to restart the app
- login and logout via main menu, also Facebook login possible

VIP credit orders from outside Finland have recently been difficult or impossible because our payment service provider (Checkout.fi) is phasing out the payment interface we've been using. We've now switched to a new interface so credit card payments should work again. There are also a few new payment methods available. Some English translations have been added/improved.

Because of this change, old Checkout orders aren't visible in the order list. To view your VIP credit orders prior June 5th, you can use this link:

Added a top 20 ranking for USA and Canada. Similar to the normal top 50 list but only players geolocated (based on IP address) in those two countries are included.

Testing a new server provider for North America. The new server is located in Montreal.

The North-American server is down due to problems with the service provider. They are working to fix it.

Our web server has moved from Germany to Finland. The Germany game server was running on the same system, so we don't have a Central-European server anymore.

There are currently no plans to install a new Central-European server but it's possible if we find a sensibly-priced option.

The Autoplay system now minimizes the number of players who get left out of games by creating both 3v3 and 4v4 rooms.

There hasn't been much activity on the North-American server recently though. We'll probably shut it down soon if there isn't any use for it.
